SEMI METALLIC BRAKE PADS
Semi-metallic brake pads are a popular choice as replacements for asbestos-containing brake pads due to their excellent heat dissipation, improved performance in high-stress conditions, and longer lifespan. These brake pads are made of a mixture of metals, including copper, steel, iron, and other alloys, combined with a graphite binding component.

ORGANIC BRAKE PADS

CERAMIC BRAKE PADS

- Less Suitable for Extremely Cold Climates: They may underperform in extreme cold weather conditions.
- Higher Brake System Temperatures: Since ceramic doesn’t absorb as much heat as other materials, it can lead to higher temperatures in the rest of the braking system.
- Not Recommended for Severe-Duty Applications: They may require greater pressure on the brake system to achieve the same stopping power as under regular driving conditions.
